What is this strange leg pain?

My left calf feels swollen, but doesn't look swollen, no dis-colorization or change in temperature. My thigh aches, and when i stand up and walk, the leg feels stiff and if i just stand for long enough with a fair amount of weight on it, my thigh will start to ache again.
Also if I walk around enough or bend down enough times to pick things up, i get pain on the left side of my back and sometimes in my left arm. It's not excruciating, maybe a 5-6 on the pain scale, and last only a second, then goes away.

About 2 weeks ago i started havign to take a low dose blood pressure pill every morning. Hydrochlorot, 25.5 mg.

I had this pain once before, but it was before i was on the blood pressure meds. I went to the emergency room and the doctor had me go in for an ultrasound to check for a blood clot, because that time my leg was a bit swollen. It didn't show a blood clot, so the doctor said it was muscular and to keep it elevated. after a few days the pain and swelling went away.

I just want to know why I keep getting this, and if it sounds serious.

The pain in my leg seems to alternate between my legs. one week it's the left leg, the next week it's the right leg, with the pain in the same places.

I'm 19, female, and obese with a sedentary lifestyle. The doctor put me on a calorie restriction to lose weight and i've been doing that since I've been on my blood pressure meds, and i've lost 7 pounds so far.

Does anyone have an idea of what's happening to me? :(

I've been checked for diabetes. I don't have it.

If you are carrying a good amount of excessive weight it could be doing a number on your leg muscles, etc.  In my opinion, this is muscular in nature.  You are too young to be taking HCTZ/blood pressure pills.  Try to get active so you can get healthy; you sound like you are on a good start.

When you are sitting, try sitting with the legs elevated, i.e. sit in a recliner or use a chair and a foot stool.  I would not recommend crossing the legs in any sort of manner.

Move around, exercise those legs.

The blood pressure medication that the doctor put you on (Hydrochlorothiazide) is a diuretic (water pill). Water weight gain could be the reason for the swelling!

I just sit with my legs down, sometimes crossed like they taught us in school- "indian style".
