Should I be concerned about some numbness on my palm?

A few days ago I noticed some itching on my left palm, just under the fingers, like the inside of my knuckles. I just realized the "itching" I was feeling was that part of my hand going numb. I'm concerned, mostly because I have high anxiety, but I'm in between insurance until the end of the month. Does anyone if I should be very concerned?

I also, in the last few months, have been doing a lot more typing at work. Having my elbows bent while typing has given be a bit of a carpel tunnel syndrome with my elbows hurting and mt ring and pinky fingers going numb. That has actually cleared up as of late, unless I spend a long time with my elbows bent, then it flares up for a few minutes. I'm unsure if the two things are related.
