It's the crash after it wears off that will get you.  The crash will cause you to be tired and cranky.  I know, because I've known coffee addicts who tried hard to get off of coffee and they were monsters for a while.

When a person with ADD or ADHD drinks coffee, it creates the opposite reaction, a calming effect.

Hi tara,
My quickest answer....YES.
I am...or was...a coffee addict.  BUT...if I kept drinking...like an entire pot in one morning, it would make me feel nauseated, irritated and I would have to go lie down and nap.
If you are a daily coffee drinker...I am pretty sure you KNOW coffee boosts the energy and eventually that energy buzz will wear off....a no brainer.
I have a feeling you drink too much coffee and you feel like crap after so many cups.
Eat and drink coffee and limit yourself to 3 cups a morning.
Take care!!

Depending on the amount of intake and how much sugar you use. Any drink designed to give a boost of energy // or caffine intake can give you a crash result. Meaning it may make you feel energetic at first but then when you come off that energy high you do a crash... and feel tired and snappy. If you want try not drinking it for a few days and see it makes a difference in your body and mood. But if you are used to everyday drinking it, you may get headaches/ moodiness/ fatigue because your body would be going through withdraws from the caffine. Our bodies become addicted to the caffine and without it we withdraw, which is uncomfortable for atleast a wk. Good Luck! Be Blessed ; )

I think it can when the caffeine wears off.  I think it gives you a bit of a high first and then a bit of a crash.  Google it as well as we found out a lot of information about this.
