brain

can a person survive being under water for 20 minutes without oxygen after being revived and if so what are the results from it

Absolutely positively, provided the water is freezing. There have been successful resuscitations without brain damage after as many as four hours under water. On the other hand there are many cases (especially in warm water) where there are severe brain damage after only a few minutes under water.

I would not think so, and if they by chance did, I feel they would have severe brain damage. Why do you ask?
