dizzy, nausea, general unwell :(

Thank god ive stumbled across this site.. ive been feeling unwell for the past 4 days - thought it was just a case of the flu (would be my first this year!)  Im a active fitness freak and eat well.  As of monday I began to feel light headed, yesterday morning I fell on the kitchen floor whist carrying breakfast to the table, I feel quite light headed and got form being freezing cold to hot and sweaty. Last night I woke at 3am with a rash all over my upper thighs and tummy - more like massive mozzie bites that have joined together - pale red and raised off skin.  Have got ongoing headaches, nausea and no energy but quite a constant thirst for water or watered down juice - usually I would love to drink milk/tea but the thought makes me feel horrid.. I dont usually go to the drs unless necessary as I know general flu season is here but this feels different, I dont want to drive to the dr either in case I get the dizzy feeling happening in the car.
Is a day in bed with panadol my best bet to get over this?

I honestly don't know what to tell you. I have had dizziness and nausea before. I used to get the general cold/hot sweats, and my face would go completely white as a ghost.  I went to the doctor for it, and they told me that it could be a multiple set of things like diabetes, heart, blood pressure etc.  So they tested all of it, and it was good.  I kept getting these spells, and passing out.  I went to Childrens Hospital and found that it was this long word that had to deal with stress.  Also, they told me that my blood pressure attends to drop while this happens.  From this, I drink gatorade a lot, and I try to limit my stress as much as I can.  I have been free of fainting since March 2010.

I would go to the Doctor. Its possible you could be allergic to something, you could be poisoned, or you could even be pregnant and be having an allergic reaction to your baby. It happens!

Please SEE a physician for goodness sakes.  You almost fell from dizziness, you have had a rash, etc.  Sounds serious enough for you to go see a physician.  Four days is enough.

Have a friend drive you or take a cab/taxi; please GET some medical attention.

I am glad you are going to the doctor, hopefully he will be able to let you know what it is. Is there any chance you might be pregnant?
