illness induced diabetes

I have never tested high for blood sugar but recently when I had a stomach virus I did.  Now my blood sugar is back in the normal range but I have been watching what I eat and drink.  Should I be concerned?

The answer you are looking for, based on the information provided, is "no".

Short-term blood glucose measurements are meaningless.

A test called the hbA1c is more definitive. If you have concerns, ask your physician for this test.
