I had these under both arms in high school. Had to get them lanced and even with the local anesthetic it hurt like crazy. My doctor told me that it was a result of a pocket of infection that had gathered there. That there were spaces between the glands that filled up with what my body was trying to fight off which was an infection in my blood stream and the glands there are part of that filtering system of the body and hence there was a buildup of infection that the body had drawn from the blood and there was nowhere for the body to release it.

It was so huge and painful I couldn't put my arms down at all. After he lanced them and cleaned them out he gave me antibiotics and  I was to change the dressing pads on it several times a day as well as apply topical antibiotic ointment to prevent infection from seeping in. The relief from the pain was instant once they got the things drained and it healed with only a tiny little line of scar under each armpit.

Get a blood test, have them lance it.

Oh yeah, and you won't be able to wear deodorant until it heals.

I HAVE BEEN HAVING LUMPS UNDER BOTH ARMS AT DIFFERENT TIMES THROUGHT THE YEAR FOR ABOUT 2 YRS. NOW.  MOST OF THE TIME THE LUMP WILL DRAIN ITSELF.  IT HURTS VERY BADLY AND SWELLS MY ARM WHERE IT'S HARD FOR ME TO PUT MY ARM DOWN.  THEY JUST KEEP COMING BACK AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND.  WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE THEM STOP COMING BACK?  I HAVE EVEN STOPPED SHAVING AS MUCH.  NOW I CUT IT DOWN TO ABOUT EVERY TWO MONTHS.  I'M NOT SURE WHY IT HAPPENS.  THEY COME ON AN AVERAGE NOW OF ABOUT 15 TIMES A YEAR.  PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME.

That's how it started with me and I was just diagnosed with breast cancer. I am not saying that's what it is, but sometimes doctors don't listen. you seem to think that its something else, so trust yourself. Have you asked your gynecologist?
