something wrong with my hand, may be a bite?

I noticed a small discoloration Sat evening.  thought it may have been a small blood blister.  did not hurt.  When I woke up Sun morning, it had swelled and  the discoloration had turned into a small blister.  Still not all that bad.
Sunday afternoon, I decided to tinker a bit with some of my cars ( am an old car collector ) and used those rubber type gloves to protect my skin as I often do.  I noticed it hurt to wear the one were the problem was but, thought it better to keep it clean.
Well, this morning when I woke up, I was huge, ugly and swollen!  I did nothing other than taking my normal vit C ( average 3-4 grams a day ).
Then, took a pain reliever and put some ice on it from time to time.  It started to feel a bit better today but, tonight is still huge and ugly but, not worse.  Not sure what it is.  I do not now think it had anything to do with my tinkering on my cars.  Perhaps it is a bite?  I looked up bite info on the net.  Most said it would be painful.  It really has not been painful just tight because of the blister and swelling.  Now, not sure if putting the tight glove on it harassed it so to speak.   It is now about 48 hours since I have noticed it.
What do you suggest?  Am trying to post a pic. Should I carefully pop the blister?  or?  any advice is very much appreciated.
Steve

If there is any poison left in it, apply some compresses of water and salt to it.  Should help it drain and heal.

As you have burst the blister and let out the fluid, keep it dry.  It will heal underneath the blister skin and the blister skin will dry and fall off just like a scab.

It will take a few weeks to heal completely on its own.

If you see 2 very small puncture marks, that would be a spider.

Well, it has been 3 days now.  All I have done is taken more vit C and some prophen.  swelling still there and blister did get a little larger. I have held off getting personal medical help as I do not have insurance.  Also, it has not been real painful and , after 3 days, is not getting worse.  I consider my immune system to be in pretty good shape so, hoping I can handle it.  If it does get worse, I will have to at least maybe go to a drug store and have a pharmacist look at it.
I appreciate the replys but, was hoping for more professional opinions.  Are any of you of a medical back ground?  or anyone else.
Tonight I cut a few holes in the blister with a clean x acto knife.  The fluid that came out can best be described as a thin salsa.  Watery and redish.  I thought it would look more like puss.
Am hoping, and praying, I will heal up and get back to normal.   I still do not know what caused this but, it does seem like a bite but, I never felt a bite.  strange

I agree with the above - it looks like a recluse spider bite!!  Get to a doctor ASAP!

The problem on your knuckle looks infected.

Make an appointment to see your doctor urgently.

Best wishes.
