Small itchy bumps all over body?!

Hello everyone. Let me start by saying im 19yo (20 in sept) and i have no prior history of any skin problems or condition and only have seasonal allergies in the spring and fall. About 2 weeks ago i noticed a few small bumps on my left forearm. They were itchy and i didnt think anything of it as its summer and figured they were just but bites. The next day i woke up n the bumps seemed to have "spread". They now covered my wntire left forearm and were very itchy. Throughout the course of the day i started to see more and more develop leading up my arm to my shoulder. The only way to describe them are extremely small bug bite looking bumps and are very itchy. Since i noticed it they have now spread to my whole right arm as well, a good portion of my stomach and ribs and aross my shoulder and back. They are still very itchy and idk what to do. Ive been taking Benadryl allergy reliefe tablets for 4 days now and nothing has happened as well as putting cortisone on the bites to help relieve a little of the itchy. As far as i know i did not walk through anything i would be allergic to(ie poison ivy sumac oak etc) and this doesnt look anything like ivy sumac or oak and i havent been in the woods at all. No new shaving creams, razors, creams, body gels or anything new has been used recently and no new laundry detergent. I know that i dont have bed bugs either, my mom and i are clean freaks and wash sheets every 3 days so i know its not that for sure. So does anyone know what this could be?! It really getting to me at this point as they are noticable and since its summer im always in short sleves tank tops and bikinis so it really annoying n the itching is annoying the heck out of me! So anybody know what it could be or what i could do for it?! Any input wiuld be greatly appreciated! Thank u so much in advance for ur comments! <3 xoxoxox

I am so glad that you got a diagnosis!  You might want to change your detergent to see if the "New and improved" version is causing you problems.   I don't know why they keep "improving" the products!  If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!
With the new and improved products, for example, I cannot even touch a dishrag that has Dawn on it.  It causes the skin on my fingers to crack and bleed. And forget Tide.  It makes a rash all over my body!
I have switched to Wisk and am doing better.  But want to try 20 Mule Team Borax as I hear it's hypoallergenic.

   Wishing you the best!

Hello evetyone! I went to the doctor today. I was told ot was just comtact dermatitis and it could be any number of things that i am allergic to as its summer. I was given a steroid to take for 5 days and if there is no improvement or goes away n comes back to see a allergist and then can find out what exactly i am allergic to.

Ok so, 1) i have not had any signs of a fever and have not had any ring around my mouth. 2) yes, i have been taking Benadryl allergy, now on my 4th day of it. No i have not seen any sort of improvement yet. 3) i have not tried the bath with baking soda, i never thought about it but will try it and see if it works. 4)i have not been swimming since this showed up. The last time i was swimming was over a month ago and that was in my personal pool in my backyard that my mother keeps clean. Its only been me, my mom, my little brother an my grandma in it this summer and as i said it was over a month ago that i had gone in the pool.     If you have a fever, please see a doctor.
Scarlet fever has a very fine rash and it usually spreads to the face but leaves a white ring around the mouth.  It's a strep infection and can go into Rheumatic Fever and affect the heart.
You said you took an antihistamine.  did it help the rash?  Did you try a tub bath with baking soda?  That usually calms down a rash like chicken pox or measles.
Have you been swimming recently?  There is a virus that one gets from the swimming pool or from swimming in lakes, ponds, rivers, etc.  Could be that.  There are too many rashes out there - Could even be Fifth disease.

Please let us know what the doctor says...
