super lice

I swear I have literally been treating my head damn near every day for the last almost 8 weeks, just when I think they are gone, I will feel an itch or a "crawling" feeling on my head, I have tried everything from the mayo, vinegar, olive oil, tea tree oil, permethrin, pyrethrins, kerosene, rubbing alcohol, you name it, I have tried it, I am about to shave my head but It seems this will traumatize my family, my 3 yr.old cried when she thought I was going to do it, I do not even sit on my own furniture or enter my kids bedrooms in fear of infecting them, I try not to get too close when I carry my child, I am a mad woman with the laundry and vacumming, I sleep on my couch covered in a sheet and every morning it gets wrapped up and straight to the washer and dryer, I have had someone combing my hair alsmot everyday, They  have not found anything in 3 days but when i run my finger down the hair strand i can feel things every so often the whole way down the hair, are these nits as you cant see anything when you look at the hair but you an feel something and they DO NOT come off, I am thinking this is for real driving me crazy and lice removal services are outrageously expensive and my insurance does not cover the good prescription medicines that treat head lice and I cannot afford over a hundred dollars for one bottle of lotion when Im gonna need 2 for the required treatment, someone please help me, this is really affecting my state of mind and my relationship with my kids!!!! If I knew who gave me this I would wring their neck!!!

Are you actually seeing lice or nits at this point, or are you treating itching?  Your issue here sounds more like OCD than head lice, and I say that with compassion, not sarcasm.  Your life sounds like a nightmare, and you are not enjoying your life or your children...or even your home.  See a dermatologist, but also consider addressing the anxiety.  Sometimes, OCD is triggered by something like this, and spirals you right into hell.  Good luck to you, and I hope you find relief from the itchies and the anxiety very soon.

Definitely see a dermatologist - sometimes these types of things can make someone OCD and we think they return and they don't.  Also - all the different things you use to treat can also cause itchiness and irritation.  See a good trusted physician and trust what they tell you - it'll take some time for your nerves to calm from all of this madness.
