Hi Candygram,
Yes I would agree with the last post that you should check your vitamin D level. Most people in North America are low in vitamin D. If yours is low too, it takes about 3 months for the vitamin D to go up after taking supplements. The sun does help but a lot times isn't enough. Even though you are 24 I would have the doctor check your moles for skin cancer, annually and you should keep an eye on them too. Generally, they should do a chemistry profile and complete blood count. It wouldn't hurt to get a baseline cholesterol level , iron and thyroid too just to see where you are naturally. Make sure you are up to date with vaccinations. They are giving pertussis out and tetanus to adults.
The only special test I would suggest is for vitamin D3 levels. Normally a little sunlight exposure to the skin does the job, but ocasionally some people don't seem to produce the essential vitamin. Also a hematocrit, which they usually do anyway.
I wouldn't worry about cancers.
