Can happen in the summer if you're in air conditioning.  Anytime your hands and feet get cold.  Swimming too.

I've got reynauds, no lupus. My hands and feet are ALWAYS freezing. They can get so bad they turn white and blue even in summer. Very annoying especially living in a place with extremely cold winters

You might have a condition called Reynauds  Syndrome.  It's a circulatory problem and usually associated with  Lupus.  The fingers and toes swell and turn blue when they get cold.  You might want your doctor to check you for Lupus.
