my husband has hep c cirrosis stage 4. cant get a transplant. other organs are damaged and has brain damage. he only drinks fluids. no food. sleep a lot. how long will he still live?

MY HUSBAND WAS IN AN GOVERMENT HOSPITAL AND I DIDN'T SEE THE DRS OR TALKED TO THEM. I COULD NOT GO THERE. NO TRANSPORT. HE WAS RELEASED AND THEY TOLD HIM THAT DRS COULDN'T DO ANYTHING FOR HIM. HE GOT SICK AND I PHONED AN AMBULANCE THAT TOOK HIM TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL. A DR THERE TOLD US THAT SHE SPOKE TO THE DR AT OTHER HOSPITAL AND HE SAID MY HUSBAND'S LIVER WERE BADLY DAMAGED AND HE CAN'T GET A TRANSPLANT. ALSO THE OTHER ORGANS ARE INFECTED AND HIS BRAIN GOT DAMAGED TOO. DR. ALSO SAID THAT MY HUSBAND IS IN STAGE 4.CIRROSIS. HOSPITAL SEND HIM HOME WITH LITTLE MEDICINE.

I would talk to someone experienced with hospice, they can give you a rough idea of how long people live in this condition.

Hi, really sorry for what your going through and my heart does share your burden. Have the doctors talked to you about this?
