hiv test

Hi. Please if anybody can answer me. I had hiv test 8 months ago and it was negative 0.195 but i was afraid so i did another one these days and it was 0.505 . I know that is negative but im worried why did the values changed.? Thank u

Of course you can brenda. If you were positive you would have been told at the time and then taken for other confirmational tests. The reason were did not have to is that your tests were negative.

You have nothing to worry about, so please enjoy the weekend ;)

Hi brenda. The values are their for diagnostic reasons only and will always change.
