1 year later..

Hi all
I have had 2 negative HIV rapid tests that according to the guidelines, is conclusive. One was at 3 months and one at 6 months.
Now, it's about a year post exposure and I'm experiencing severe pain everywhere I have lymph nodes. I am able to feel the nodes in my neck. My armpits and groin area hurt but I cannot feel the lumps..yet. I've checked my fever, and I don't have one. The pain and lymph nodes are my only symptoms but they are enough to get me worried about HIV agaib. Also, the pain isn't constant. It comes and goes, especially in my groin area. Could this possibly be ARS? Is it on for these symptoms to come a year later?
Thank you

You need professional help to deal with your anxiety, not more HIV testing.

Lymph nodes are almost always plapable, and ONLY a medical professional can assess and diagnose swollen lymph nodes.  YOU can NOTm, so quit poking around.

You do not have HIV....either accept that or notm but we cannot keep repeating ourselves.

Still think i may have HIV and symptoms just took longer to appear. I'll probably go get tested again. Probably a blood test (ELISA) this time instead of the rapid.

if you are having health concerns, see your dr...its NOT HIV RELATED ! ! !

this forum is hiv specific and you have tests that PROVE that your problem has nothing to do with hiv.

please find the appropriate forum to post in.

Anyone, please?
are lymph nodes noticeable to the eye? when i feel and look around the areas that i have pain, i dont see any lumps, but why else would the pain (eps in neck) be so persistent if it werent my lymph nodes. Now, I also feel like the bone behind one of my ear is larger than the other...could this be because a lymph nodes swelled on top of the bone?

When lymph nodes swell, are they visible to the eye. Like, do they lump out or are they just felt?

No the swollen lymph nodes are not related to ARS and rapid tests are excellent & just as accurate as regular HIV tests.

So there's no way these swollen lymph nodes are due to HIV? Rapid tests are that accurate? I've heard they are not.

Correction--not over tested--you tested way past the official HIV window period of 3 months I should have said. There was no need.Your results are conclusive.Move on now please.

What if they are not my lymph nodes. Does HIV cause pain in the neck, armpit and groin area? Could these be due to anxiety?

You don't have HIV and swollen lymph nodes with HIV don't hurt. Now move along.

Swollen and painful lymph nodes are symptoms of HIV, correct? How can I be experiencing this a yr post exposure if I don't have HIV. Are rapid tests accurate? Do people experience Ars or seroconverting a yr later?

ARS doesn't occur later? Like years after exposure? also, when symptoms do occur, is it more than just lymph nodes? The pain in my groin area is of serious concern. I don't know why it's happening. could anxiety cause all these pains and swellings? my tests were unigold and oraquick, if it changes anything.
