10-11 weeks

hi, am pumpuhar............i had a neagtive hiv DUO ag/ab+p24 test between 10-11 weeks after exposure....after all the possible symptoms. My doctor said i shud keep testing for the next one year to rule out infection..........am really confused, he is a doctor frm a reputed hospital....am not sure if he is right or he doesnt know medicine cos u guys on this forum say 12 weeks is conclusive....................pls help me, ur advice will help save a life........also is my 11 weeks negative enuf, or shud i test after 2 weeks or shud i keep testing for the next one year as my doc said......also i had a negative result at 4,6,8,10-11 weeks.....pls help, dint my body still dint produce detectable antibodies...........pls, i really trust ur medical knowledge, thats why i am here.

dont go after symtoms, they dont mean anything when it comes to diagnosing hiv, you have a negative hiv antibody test at the 11 week,you are negative no need to stress out any more or to go 4 further testing

your doctor does not know much about the testing period..
you dont need further testing, you are negative...
the window period has been 3 months since 2004..and your 11 week negative will not change...
you are negative..dont need further testing

around 16 days after exposure....had fever for 3 weeks, and rashes on my body with loose stools........fever was really bad, never stayed for so long in my entire life.....was really scared.

what symptoms did u get?

after how long of a possible exposure u got the symptoms ?
