1) If someone were to use a needle that is contaminated with HIV virus to inject himself with drugs etc. Would he convert quicker and would it show up earlier in the test.

2) How come is it that ARS associated fever only appears at nights and what are the characteristics of it.

So then it was zero risk unless the condom broke.

There is no harm, thats the reason i gave you al the details of ars in the first answer, my best advice to you would be to stop searching and reading in the web you can find a lot fo false BS info, if you had a low to none risk exposure and you had your 6 week 95% accurate test, then you should have known that ARS when appears only in the 50% of tha cases appears between 2-4 week and are not only night sweats,  they come toghether, as in the most viral infections, the night sweats are produces by fever, and fever is produced by our body in his fight with viruses and bacterial infections, the fever is more common at night, but fever and all the ARS symptoms can also be produced by anxiety, stress, depression, ect. so ARS doesnt worth worring about, all you can do now is confront your fears I dont know what your exposure was but i suspect it was receiving unprotected oral sex, or hj, so try to calm down if you cant just look for therapist they really help in this issues.

Good luck

If you tested negative and you are still wondering about it, you need to go see a shrink to help you with that problem.  Not intended as an insult, but your so called research online is only going to feed your anxiety.

ok i know that it ain´t matters, but what´s the harm on answering and getting some general knowledge. I had a low risk exposure or according to some no exposure at all and got tested after 6 weeks which was negative. Since then i still can´t forget bout hiv and i keep reading bout it. All i wanna do is get a better info on it.

I read though that the characteristic fever would have to be over 101F is that correct?
As for to diagnose ARS that means at not one but few of these symptoms would manifest itself at one time right?
I still wonder though how come is it that fever usually outbrakes at nights with profound sweating.

1) No it doesnt matter how the infection happen the window period is the same. for all infections cases.

2)   don't believe there is such a thing as a "typical" case of ARS or a "compassionate" conservative. ARS symptoms vary greatly from person to person, and may be so mild as to go essentially unnoticed or be so severe as to be debilitating. I can give you the frequency in the form of percentages of various signs and symptoms of primary HIV infection. Perhaps that will help. Fever 96%, enlarge lymph nodes 74%, sore throat 70%, rash 70%, muscle aches 54%, diarrhea 32%, headache 32%, nausea and vomiting 27%, enlarged liver/spleen 14%, weight loss 13%, thrush 12%, neurologic symptoms 12%. Remember, however, that symptoms, even all of the above listed symptoms, do not equal HIV disease. There are many illnesses that can cause these symptoms. The only way to know if you've contracted HIV is to get tested. and only 50% of hiv positive people had the symptoms
