I just wanted to ask as this is currently my 15th week since exposure.I got tested with i suppose with duo test which says the test is enzyme linked flourscent immunoassay.And it showed values as

Antigen 0.01 and Antibody 1 &2 0.07     Result NEG 0.25

RESULT NEGATIVE

If i am negative then what does these value suggest,does a normal person if he is also tested without any exposure the reading will not be zero and the machine will give some number???.Kindly suggest your opinion Experts!!

I read all ur stuff.. Even I understand Hindi well ;) dude u r safe. Thankfull to god. Get urslf tested for herpes. U might be suffering from hives (wiki kar bhai) which is due to anxiety.Get over this u r SAFE

Dear Experts,

I am experiencing very weak from within,having neck pain,pains in elbows,joint pain in legs...red dots on arms and legs...!!Is these signs of seroconversion???I had taken 11 tests so far (2 ELISAs,8 ECLIAs and  1 DUO ) at different times till 140 days.What else test could be taken??Kindly guide...I am not frustrating you guys by keep coming  back..I just shared the symptoms i am going thru..Please advice...

Dear All,

Its just not getting end...Today is my 147day post last exposure and i experience terrible symptom.I have pain in elbows,joint pains in legs,and red swellings(rasj type of thing comes up on my hands), it eventually subsides after some time but leaving a red dot at that particular area.I am still very terrified please let me know what to do????Kindly help

I am not denying your expertise but from past 15 days i am feeling shooting pain in my both elbows apart from behind the ears...kindly do let me know is these late ARS Symptoms??? I have these tests so far:-

1 3rd week-ELISA test
2 5th,7th,9th,11th,83 day-ECLIA
3 90 days-Tridot test
4 97 days-ECLIA
5 108 days-P24 + Antibody DUO test
6 120 days-ECLIA
7 140 days-EIA rapid test

All have come NON REACTIVE so far..Pl ease do help.....

bhai aapko hiv nahi hai cool down nothing to worry at all,i understand the anxiety but ur fine n hiv negative, jus chill and we should be more carefull so this risk doesnt happen again,feel safe.......

Sorry Guys,

I am back again.i Just wanted to let you know that i got myself tested once again at 140 days mark( 20 weeks) at Religare labs by HIV ANTIBODIES,SERUM-Enzyme Immunoassay( Rapid),the results are :-

HIV -1 Antibodies- NON REACTIVE

HIV -2 Antibodies-NON REACTIVE.

I just wanted to know about the method they used..Is this a third or fourth generation test? Is this a reliable test??

I am experiencing lot of pain in both elbows and legs joints apart from neck pain no dizziness  now. Two elevated bumps behind the neck.Are these symptoms related to delayed seroconversion if some how the test couldnt pick antibodies or my body is that late to produce enough detectable antobodies?Kinldy answer!!!!

The result has been conclusive: You don't have HIV and the symptoms you and your wife are suffering now therefore don't have anything to do with HIV. Symptoms can be misleading and can be tied to fear and/or another disease, but again, not to HIV in your case.

If you need to get over your fear, you can try http://www.medhelp.org/forums/HIV-Anxiety-Support/show/595 or consult professional mental help. If your symptoms don't ease along with your fear, go consult a doctor.

We only assess HIV transmission risk here and you don't have one according to your conclusive test.

Dear Teak,

I am not annoying you people here by questioning again and again.What happened was i also asked my status to the body forum along with yours.I was given a clean chit and move on with my life comments.But to your knowledge i had unprotected sex with my wife since then a couple of times and now she has also some brown/red spots on face and had got some vaginal infection.That made me worried a lot.I have stiff neck and dizziness as far as my symptoms are concerned...Kindly help,if we both are safe??I am more concerned about my innocent wife..Thats why i am troubling you!!!

Hi,

I just got tested at 17th week by ECLIA test the results are yet again NON  RECATIVE.When i insisted them for my values they only told me the antigen value that is 0.04.They told me anything less than 0.25 is negative.But when i took the test at 15th week by duo test it was something like 0.01 for antigen values now it is 0.04.I dont know why but is has happened..I would like to add i still have stiff neck and dizziness.Some red/brown bumps of face and thighs still there.Can you plz tell me why the numbers have increased though slightly....
