ARS Rash? Please help...

Hi all,

I recently had a very low risk exposure where I fingered a stripper with a day old cut. I was recently told that it was zero risk. But now I have a rash on my chest and stomach. They are basically about 10-15 little red spots that dont itch. Could this be the ARS rash? Could the rash come without the fever? Ive been testing my temp and it is not going above 98.6 so I know that I dont have a fever. I also dont have any other symptoms.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Like Teak have mentioned, you are not at risk of HIV infection at all.  Hence, your rash has nothing to do with HIV.

You will need to acknowledge the facts about HIV transmission and reconcile with these facts.

Cheers!

Teak,

But could the rash appear without a fever? I am just freaking out that I would be the first person to catch HIV through fingering! It was a pretty deep cut, but there was a little scab.

Thanks.

You didn't have a low risk. You had no risk at all.
