Hi, Teak, I do not mean to offend you, but there is something called 4th generation abbott test paper, the 3rd generation only has one area on the test paper named Ab(anti body),but the 4th generation has 2 areas,one is Ab and another one is Ag(antigen),it has been used to test p24 antigen for early suspect. inverness medical takes over this, in Japan,canada,australia,they use this a lot now. this test paper is also widely used in CDC and some big hospitals in China too. but it is not widely used for every single test yet.

Yes, i think there is one test paper by abbott company can be used for rapid test, and it can be done at home.
Test are reassuring but not accurate, therfore need to be repeated.. A hiv duo test after 28days shold be done followed by a test at 90 days to rule out no infection
