Anxiety Justified part 2

Dr. Hunter,

I posted back on 5/6 & have some f/up questions below.  Here is a summary of my post on 5/6

- was with African American Prostitute, could not penetrate 1st attempt, upon removing condom she knicked my shaft which i did not realize till next day

- 2nd attempt 10 min or so later, reused condom, concerned my urethra was esposed to her vaginal fluid  on condom if put on backwards

- also concerned that cut or possible herpes ulcer (I have genital herpes) was exposed on 2nd attempt, confident/hopeful condom covered that area based on where it is on my shaft

- 2nd attempt lasted short while, then limp, quit.  called her to ask if she was HIV+, she said no, asked her again & she said I have nothing to worrry about, not sure I believe her.  Came down with cold a few days later.

You said all in all a safe sex event no need for testing, thank you!

QUESTIONS Since 1st post

ONE - Cold i had turned to Brochitus, Dr prescribed 750mg Levaquin 10 days.  Can Levaquin interfere with RNA test?

TWO - Only symptoms I have are Bronchitus, nasuea that lasts 10 minutes comes & goes around dinner time, shooting nerve pain in abdomen, racing feeling & red face for a few days.  No fever, swollen nodes as far as I can tell.  Do not remember Levaquin causing me nausea when I have taken it before?  Do these symptoms sound like possible HIV infection?

THREE - for reassurance you said to get tested which I want to do.  I am feeling my glands 6 x day, dreding a fever, think the nerve pain is shingles, cant worry anymore.  What test do you recommend that at day 17 will tell me if I have HIV.

FOUR - Can Levaquin slow symptoms of HIV?

Any other insight is much appreciated & thank you!

You are not having ARS, you never had an exposure.

Teak and anyone else,

I have had nausea and last night experienced a racing feeling that woke me up from my sleep.  I was only able to sleep an hour at a time due to this feeling.  Could this feeling be my bodies inflammatory response to the ARS which is making me feel uneasy/racing?  has this ever been documented as a symptom or is the inflammatory response one more of fever and gland swelling vs a racing feeling.   I a 20 days post risk and had 3 good days with the advice given by you all, but the return of the nausea and this racing feeling now have me concerned again.  any insight would be most helpful.

Thanks
