Backpage hooker

So I had sex with some hooker that was willing to have sex without a condom, but I used a condom(those thin trojan ones). Anyway like a month later I had fever, mild sore throat, oh yeah, prior to that I had these raised bumps all over my body 2 weeks before that(hiv rash?) they were skin colored bumps like a billion of them.

I went to planned parent hood at 3 month mark for  a rapid test and it came back negative. I was happy until I read online that rapid tests are complete garbage and I need those crazy blood tests where they take a gallon of blood and get results in a couple days to be accurate. So I am kind of worried now since I had the symptoms I read online.  Thanks in advance.

3 weeks earlier than 3 months and your test results is negative is a good indication.

I messed up, tested 3 weeks earlier than 3 months so my results are probably worthless but you made me feel better about educating me that the condoms are safe. Thanks for taking the time to respond to my posts everyone. Bless you all.

1. 3 months test post exposure is conclusive.
2.No, after 3 months trust your test results.
3.Trojan condoms are highly effective(IMO)against HIV. If use correctly and consistently. If the condom was intact as u detached from intercourse and not fail then u had no risk. Your 3 month test proves that.
4.Latex(Trojan)are good condoms. It says reduce bc condoms do not protect from all STIs like HPV/herpes. Those are skin contact viruses, which a person can get from non sexual activities.

I just realized my rapid test was 3 weeks short of 3 months, how bad is this?

Thank you so much for your insightful answer. I apologize in advance if this one is too long to just clear some up but I appreciate the time someone takes to answer these, it means the world to me and I just want to be educated a little bit more. Thank you. I don't like to bother anyone here with a follow up question, but I just had these additional ones to make sure everything is clear(anxiety). I forgot to say that I am in the USA, I heard UK rapid tests are way more advanced.

1. My USA hiv rapid test(finger prick) from planned parenthood at 3 months is conclusive?

2. A regular blood test where they draw  a tube full of blood to check for hiv more at a lab won't change the negative results from the rapid test?

3. You said Condoms protects against Hiv, so more about this safe sex. I had those thin trojan condoms where you can feel more, and I am uncircumsized. I think I read on cdc that uncircumsized makes it easier for hiv and that condoms are not always safe, it just reduces. May someone clear this up for me a bit on what they mean|? Am I still safe with a condom even though it was those thin trojan ones and I am uncircumsized?

4. Last one, for the sake of argument, say the hooker had hiv and the condom broke or had microscopic holes or I had a sore somewhere or whatever, and I took that rapid test at 3 months like I did, would the negative be good? Thank you so much for taking the time for these.

Any HIV test done 3 months after exposure is conclusive. The six month timeframe was overruled in 2004 and is no longer applicable.

Using a condom protects against HIV and therefore you had no risk in the first place. No risk means a test is not necessary.

Testing after 3months after exposure is accurate
You do not have HIV

If you are worried get tested at 6 months I am sure your results remain unchanged.

I am not a nurse or doctor but when I went for testing that is what the staff told me.

Besides you used a condom, that decreases your risk also.

Please move on with your life
