Snorting coke and hiv

Hi, last week I snorted cocaine with my gay friend and we shared the same bill. I was wondering if it is possible for me to contract HIV this way. I know all gay people dont have hiv, but he's told me before that he doesnt have it. But i'm just being obsessive compulsive over it. There was no blood on the bill either.

Hi Teak! Hope you are well. I find your postings very informative. I am an addictions counsellor who fell off the wagon a 15 months ago and have been clean again for over a year. My question is I snorted oxy with a friend who has just recently been diagnosed with AIDS. CD4 114 VL 1700 with pcp. I know VL very low right for someone with an opportunistic. I am wondering if I put myself at risk of infection sharing a straw with him? I didn't notice any blood, but I may have had a cut in my nose. Thanks

not really they have always been my vices... but i guess i dont need to worry...but would getting a test be completely useless and a waste of time for my minimal risk.

ok well its been about 2 months and now i have what seems to be a cold... are sore throat, dry cough, congestion, a indication of acute hiv infection? it could be just a cold though because my brother is sick and i smoked alot of cigars and pot this week.

im sorry to hear that, so you all are 100% sure i could not get hiv that way? would it be a complete waste of time and money to go out for a hiv test? man im f'ing paranoid....also can you give hiv by drinking out of the same cup if you just had a oral surgery done and there is a wound?

crystal meth led to my son contracting hiv ! ! !  another son is two years clean from a crack addiction.  dont play with the big boys unless you are willing to pay the ultimate price.

thanks alot....screw cocaine and hard drugs( causes to much problems), i'm just gonna stick with good old herb from now on so i dont have to worry about stuff like that

are you sure? i know you have a lot of experience and knowledge about HIV, but im just really paranoid that i have it. anyways, i got my wisdom tooth taken out yesterday, there is still a wound, my mom asked me if she could have a drink of my pop so i said yes and now im worried that i might've given it to her, is this possible? your right i probably dont even have it but im just overly paranoid and i think i might have obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). any replies are greatly appreciated.
