Chewing fingernails and ejaculate

Hi: Today I had an encounter with another m. We just masturbated each other, and some of his pre-cum may have gotten on my finger. I chew my fingernails a great deal and also chew the skin on the sides. After the encounter I washed my hands but afterwards the corner of the nail (where I chew) began to sting. I'm afraid that his precut might have entered a sore.

What are my HIV chances? Thanks alot.

You have been assessed as having no risk--it's time to move on now.

You need to stop searching on the internet for information- it's only going to confuse you. Whatever you read was incorrect. Anyway, soap would instantly dissolve the outer membrane of the virus, rendering it unable to infect.

Just accept that you weren't at risk, log off this forum, and move on with your life.

Hey guys, kind of freaking out here. I've been reading about how HIV can live outside the body longer in water. Well, I washed my hands in soap and warm water for a very long time afterward. Does this change your views? Thanks for replying, I appreciate you guys alot.

Thanks for this. I probably overestimated the risk. I'm not comfortable with unprotected sex with my regular partner until I'm tested. irrational?
