Open canker sore and blood, HIV Risk?

Hi, I had a canker sore in my mouth that came from biting the inside of my cheek. While having this canker sore I went to a party and played some drinking games and drank after a couple people not thinking about my canker sore at the time. Would it be possible to get HIV if by some chance someone had a cut or something in there mouth and got the blood in or on the cup and then me drink after them and the blood getting into my canker sore?

Also is a canker sore considered an open sore? Or could the blood only get in if the sore was bleeding? I started thinking about this a few days after the party and realized that it was a pretty stupid move and didn't know if I put myself at a risk for HIV or anything else.

Lastly, how long does HIV last outside the body? would it die as soon as the blood, lets say, came out of the body, or could it live long enough that if it was in or on a cup and then i drank after the person it could still infect me through my canker sore? Sorry for all the questions, but if someone that knows about HIV could answer my questions I would greatly appreciate it, thank you in advance!

Sorry if you think I come off as ignorant, but I have educated myself somewhat about HIV, probably not as much as you, but anyway I have read that HIV can be passed by blood, through open cuts in the mouth for example, which i just saw includes things like canker sores. So I was trying to ask someone with more knowledge then me if I could get HIV from drinking  right after someone with a cut if the blood was in or on the cup and then infect me by getting into my canker sore since it is one way of passing it.

Also I've read that HIV doesn't live long after leaving the body, but have seen that it can last anywhere from a few minuets to an hour  as well so I didn't know.

I have been trying to educate myself about HIV but also wanted to talk to someone about my exact situation since I've read conflicting information on the web, if you can help educate me any more I would greatly appreciate it.

Seriously? I find it very depressing that after nearly 30 years into the HIV pandemic, some people ARE still not educated about how HIV is and isn't transmitted. Your problem is not a possible HIV expsore, but one of ignorance.

You were never at risk of HIV infection from what you have described. HIV is such a fragile virus that it is deactivated almost immediately outside it's host body. You were not and never will be at risk of HIV infection through environmental contact.

I suggest that you educate yourself about HIV transmission.
