Do not go off of symptoms. I had a scare from not ever being at risk and convinced myself I had been exposed. My "symptoms" were candida, rash, blood spots, headaches, sweating, fever, nausea, mouth ulcers, vomiting, and fatigue, and guess what? No HIV
i do, but ...i thought this site was somewhere we could come to ask questions we are unsure of.. I understand you are very knowledgeable teak, which is great as you have helped many ppl on here im sure.... I dont think i am asking such a stupid question, so is that right?
also would a mouth ulcer only be linked to ars?
Cheers.
You're saying you don't know how HIV is transmitted and the disease has been around for almost 30 years?
yes, i understand that part.... what im asking is.... the only way for infection is if blood entered the uretha in the short 15-20 seconds i entered?
UNPROTECTED PENETRATIVE VAGINAL OR ANAL SEX.
Hi teak, i understand.... but its not the abbrasion thats the risk its the unprotected sex only if blood entered the uretha is that right teak?
You had unprotected sex and put yourself at risk. The only way you will know your status is by testing.
thanks, so is it to correct to say that the tiny abbrasion carries no risk?
Your risk is much lesser than someone who would have engaged in a longer period of unprotected sex.
You had a risk and a test will give you the answer. 3 months seems to be the standard.
Chances are you were not infected but get tested just to be certain. If you choose to get tested, get one at 6 weeks and then one at 3 months.
but i had unprotected anal sex for about 20 seconds with her... i pulled out after 20 seconds than put condom... is it possible that blood could have gone down the uretha in that short time?
so the cut is completely out of the equation? there is no risk there?
you didn't had an exposur so you are never at risk...be careful in future...move on
