Condom Break

l recently had a condom break with a total stranger whilst HAVING  anal sex. l was the top (inserting). l only realised after l ejaculated. l responded by washing my penis with with soap.  l am very afraid about this. Does this wash could have minimised  exposure to HIV  infection. l will get tested  sometime after six months.
It is very stupid l know but it happened making it wth a stranger.

The CDC estimates that the risk per act of unprotected anal sex as the insertive partenr is like 6.5 per 10,000, therefore your risk through the condom breaking as the insertive partner is still very low and probably less than the 6-10,000 estimate. I would agree with the decision to test and the odds are in your favor. Imagine all of the things you do that likely have a six in ten thousand chance of going terribly wrong, lets just say it rarely ever happens.

Good luck
