Exposure to hiv positive menstrual blood
dont know my odds risk. well l had protected nagina and anal sex with a lady when she was on her period. the condoms didnt fail, but there was blood on my testicles and thighs. l also performed oral on her (stupid), so probably had some of her blood in my mouth. l am scared to death. Is my life over or l stil have a chance. the girls tells me 3 days later she is positive. What my real risk here, do l need testing. during the sex acts l held the condom with my bare hands no visible cuts tho, and l washed my hands after every round, and removed the bloody condom. help me; will donate whatever. so four days after, l am have taken a test and am waiting for results
As long as the head of your penis was covered at all times which it was then you never had a risk and the oral act you engaged in was no risk either.No testing required.
l should mention the oral was unprotected and she is positive, l probably felt a bit of blood in my mouth

You won't infect your wife with a virus you don't have.Blood on the base of your penis is not a risk.

ok l just got my results everything negative fron Hiv syphillis; but the exposure, which yu all say is not an exposure took place 5 days ago; they tested using a HIV1/HIV2 Ac + Ag P24 HIV1 (ECL HIV combination PT cobas e601)-----my wife comes in a week, can l have sex with her without protection and fear
Any HIV test you have for this incident will be negative because you had no risk.You can continue unprotected sex with your wife if you have had a full STD screen.You never had an HIV risk but for your wifes sake you should test for other STD's.All STD questions need to be posted in the STD forum,all the best.
Seek a therapist for your anxiety/guilt. We have said over and over again and provided you Dr's statements and studies that show no risk, yet your anxiety is making you not believe fact.
ok one more thing that cant get out of my heard;; is when was screwing her---her on top, some of her blood went on my balls and thighs. in my heardl had concluded she healthy --stupid of course, and the sheets on the bed where like red guys. when l ejaculated all the time l pulled an the condom was there not broken but with a lot of blood, l used my bare hand and tissue to remov the condom, throw it out and washed, then l would start again w a fresh condom. l fingered her, may with tiny vuts on my fingers. the scary part here is---she is positive def. its scary guys. most of the time yu comfort saying maybe she was neg but here she is positive so guys talk to me, help a brother here
3 weeks after my incident (that experts call non exposure)--l have a pimple on my tongue and diaahorea.....what do l do now. l just hope its not hiv, *** l trusted experts: maybe l am paranoid coz l know for a fact this woman has hiv, and her menstrual blood was in my mouth and skin and balls;;pliz help

There is no debate (among experts) about the HIV risks associated with oral sex. The risk is so low that almost nobody who cares for HIV infected patients has ever had a patient believed to have been infected that way. Among experts, it's a semantic issue about using terms like "no risk" and "very low risk". There is no difference between my or Dr. Hook's use of "low risk" and other experts' "no risk".
