hello doctor, I want to ask about the window period hiv I read the article on the internet and sites declared hiv tests should be done after 3 months of risky behavior, whereas at site 4 weeks medhelp states already can say the results are valid. and I have some questions:
A. whether the results in 6-8 weeks was able to present its results in three months by any method? or should test again in three months?
2. if every person exposed to hiv, there are no symptoms at week 2 -4, or can no symptoms at all?
3.apakah by using condoms can protect us from hiv in vaginal sex?
thank you

The window period is 4 weeks to 3 months.
There are no tests marketed or sold to give a conclusive negative test result earlier than 3 months post exposure.
No everyone that contracts HIV have ARS symptoms
Using condoms will protect you from HIV and most STDs.
