In an adult, a positive HIV antibody test result means that the person is infected, a person with a negative or inconclusive result may be in the “window for 4 to 6 weeks but occasionally up to 3 months after HIV exposure. Persons at high risk who initially test negative should be retested 3 months after exposure to confirm results
Im rather confused by ur last comment teak. Sorry im being a nuisance. :/
Most and all aren't the same reason for the 3 month test to totally exclude you from having HIV.
Thanks again for taking time to read and answer my question. Ive heard most people become hiv positive by 6 weeks iand show on hiv antibody test is this true ? although a conclusive test still needs to be done at 3 months for people it may not of covered?

Thank you so much ive been worried sick, was just wondering where u get ur information from?
Yes, that is the only way. You can't contract it by rubbing.
So he would of had to penetrate me before it could be passed on? What if he had pre cum?
You would have known if you would have been penetrated. 3 months post exposure is when you can obtain a conclusive test result.
