First time Diagnosed with shingles

I was raped three years ago, 2006 and I have been testing every couple of months ever since. Last test that I received was in Feburary 2008. I was diagnosed with shingles on yesterday 1-13-09, I am concerned, is shingles a symptom of HIV/AIDS and should I go back and get tested again. The nurse who examined me asked if I have AIDS or have been tested and that is another reason for my inquiry.

Also what is the window for the virus that causes HIV/AIDS to appear in your system after being exposed? I am very concerned, I am 41 year old woman please help me to understand!

ANY HIV antibody test taken after 3 months is CONCLUSIVE. You have definitely over tested. You do NOT have HIV from this incident.

So, your exposure was in 2006 and you tested  negative in 2008?  You do not have HIV.
