For anyone with knowledge..

Why is it that so many people have a possible exposure to HIV, real symptoms but don't test positive?

I've covered this forum top to bottom, with all sorts of exposures from seriously high risk (M2M multiple receptive etc) to no risk (Insertive oral)

Both this forum (9 years or so) and another site (8 Years) claim no single exposures have lead to anything serious yet.

I have seen some people with everything in the book and be ok, I just can't get my head around how there are so many coincidences. It's certainly a good thing, I know an unrelated symptom could cause stress leading to other things but I would be interested on a view of this and possible discussion.

Teak is not protrolling areas Med Help moderators are! Teak is here for help and support for all those with HIV concerns and has dedicated his live to this forum out of concern and empathy for others with issues.
Usually when a correct reply is made others dont necessarily reply  as would just duplicate the answer.

HIV is not trasmitted by oral sex and HIV is not diagnosed by symptoms but only by testing.

Free forum but you can bet your bottom dollar the first and usually only opinion is from the same person every time.

People have different opinions and perspectives on these sorts of things

This is a HIV risk assestment forum. That is what this area is for. This is also a free forum where anyone can comment on anything.

As far as your question, Teak said it all.

I was hoping for someone other than yourself to answer and didn't realise you patrolled this area too... It would be nice to have somebody else answer for a change.

Whilst I don't disagree with most of your statements, are you the only person allowed to comment? Sort of puts people off asking anything.

How many times have your read, HIV is not diagnosed by symptoms, that symptoms or lack of will not tell you anything about your HIV status? How many times have you read HIV has no specific symptoms along with HIV is not transmitted by oral sex?
