From experience how long does it take...

Hi there, I am extremely nervous and having a hard time settling down. i had a prenatal hiv test done on the morning of April 6th and I am just wondering from experience from those who have had one, how long did the results take to come back. I am in canada. The websites say either up to 2 weeks or between 7-10 days. I'm too scared to call.

I believe here they are legally obliged to call you immediately if somethign comes up. My next appointment isn't for 4 weeks so I don't think they would just wait. Not from what I understand anyways.

It can be hours or days or weeks. Depends on the office and lab. You can either call for results or normally in America they review the results at your next appointment.
