themost stressful thing is that you continue to think about it whch doesnt help the immune system as i read....also, the whole not geting a sufficient amount of sleep might be a factor for this...like i mentoned b4..i tend to not sleep more then 5hrs everynight...was times during the summer where i cudnt sleep more then 4hrs....ive been gettn at least 5hrs now whch still isnt gd...the allegies during the winter might be a concern as with this..i appreciate your time i answering my post....tak care
not a hiv concern?...my tongue doesnt hurt at all...it just comes n goes........so shd i be worried
ive read numerous sites about geographic tongue and the pics that ive seen..some lok similar to what i sometimes get..i tend to hav bad allergies in the morning lik, sneezin, watery eyes..i also tend to go to sleep pretty late Everyday for lik a looong time..lik 1-2am...could this be a reason for breakout i get on my tongue(white outline)...i also tak zinc,b complex n daily vitamins NOW...never before i use to take vitamins or really eat healthy stuff...
What was your exposure that you are concerned about.

If she said it's normal, then it is in fact normal. Why in the world would you think that people posting on an internet site that cannot even see your tongue would have anything to say about it that could be more informed or accurate than what your doctor already told you?? And why would you call it geographic tongue if your doctor already told you it is fine. Trust your doctor, sheesh. You don't have HIV!!
Thanks for the comforting words. I did see my doctor about my tongue.. but she said "it looks normal to me".
Your act of engaging in oral sex is not going to result in transmission of HIV. Also, symptoms are never a way to determine if you have HIV. There are NO specific symptoms of HIV. If something is wrong with your tongue then go see your doctor. It has nothing to do with HIV.
