Hi,
I had unprotected sex with  prostitute 3 weeks ago.I am now really scared.I also caught flu for few days (3-5)..I am very scared now.Please help!Is it possible that i caught virus?Is there anyway to check if you hiv without taking a hiv test?What are the initial symptoms of HIV which appears exactly after few days?Please help i am scared.

If you contracted HIV (which is probably NOT the case), you need to wait at least 6 weeks to take the test. That is when the antibodies will show up.  In the mean time, relax, and try to stay away from reading all sorts of things about HIV on the internet.  

Relax.  The chances are so slim.  I went through the same situation and was very scared... next time just use protection.

They do have at home HIV test kits that you can get at walgreens and places like that. its only about 60 dollars but its reliable and worth every penny.
