at risk

I had sexual contact 5 weeks ago with a male (insertive sex) and I'm a bit worried. I did a determine combo test in week 5 after sexual encounter and the result was "negative". Is the test reliable? can I trust this "negative" result on both antigen p24 and antibody HIV1/2?

thanks for your help

a test at 9 weeks is "reliable"...just not totally conclusive !

it is highly unlikely that a test at 9 weeks will change BUT i will not guarantee this.

quick question, with this Negative in determine combo at 5 weeks would an antibody test at 9 weeks be reliable?

This is a very good result and highly unlikely to change but you still need to test at 3 months for a conclusive result.
