Teak. What do u think? Oral sex

All the experts state that kissing is 0 risk for hiv transmission. On the other hand, receiving oral sex is "low risk".
I really could not understand the difference between kissing and receiving oral sex.
Both involve just saliva.
Why do these experts who got MD degree frighten people?

Thanks

I am very sorry TEAK and LIZZIE but you cannot help people in that manner.

Think a guy who is very stressed. First of all, he will google the issue and see that "Yes. Oral Sex is a risk for Hiv transmission". Later on, he will join in this community or aidsmeds: "No. It is not risk".

Think that you visited a doctor. One of them said that you are cancer and other one said that you are not cancer. Whom will you believe? Will you move on your life?

We need more rational explanations. "Oral sex is not a risk" by TEAK would not relief people.

Oral sex is not a risk of HIV transmission and there are NO VERIFIED DOCUMENTED cases of anyone being infected with HIV by ORAL SEX. However there has been studies to prove the fact that oral sex is NOT A RISK of HIV transmission.

Thanks Lizzie.
Actually, I have already read them. You are great people who try to relief very stressed people. Thanks again. However, I am talking about something different:

Look thebody.com- Dr. Bob- or CDC or aids.com. All the governmental centers all over the world that we should take into account state explicitly that oral sex is a risk for Hiv transmission. Why do you think so?

I believe that if you can answer that question a lot of people who spend lots of time in that forum will find very reasonable answer because I firmly believe that people confuse whom to believe. Right?

Thanks

:)..............you are right..........
Exceptions are always there..........CDC has taken account of the few cases reported by the people those claimed that their exposure was only the oral sex.
So being extra per-cautionary they have taken measure of it to educate people to be at the safest end even doing oral sex.
As HIV is for life........and every individual is valuable....................
Science cant claim that it never happens..........so they have taken it as zero to low risk.
However, there is disagreement between the scientist about the low risk and zero risk.
However,it is very rare, according to Dr Sean, there will be half a dozen people infected by oral sex among 40 million people living with HIV.

oral sex is NO risk

There is no debate (among experts) about the HIV risks associated with oral sex.  The risk is so low that almost nobody who cares for HIV infected patients has ever had a patient believed to have been infected that way.  Among experts, it's a semantic issue about using terms like "no risk" and "very low risk".  There is no difference between my or Dr. Hook's use of "low risk" and other experts' "no risk".
DR. HANSFIELD

"And oral sex is basically safe sex -- completely safe with respect to HIV and although not zero risk for other STDs, the chance of infection is far lower than for unprotected vaginal or anal sex.  Please educate yourself about the real risks.  If you stick with oral sex and condom-protected vaginal or anal sex, you have no HIV worries and very little worry about other STDs. "   DR HANSFIELD

"I am sure you can find lots of people who belive that HIV is transmitted by oral sex, but you will not find scientific data to support this unrealistic concern..."   DR HOOK

"HIV is not spread by touching, masturbation, oral sex or condom protected sex."- DR. HOOK

in the public HIV Prevention forum of MedHelp, TEAK and the other moderators maintain that oral sex in all forms is a zero risk activity. Would you agree with this assessment?
I TOTALLY AGREE / DR GARCIA
