If you say that you have never had an exposure then you didn't need the first test and it was a false positive?

Here in Middle East is different from Asian countries or even in the US... we are a free countries and we have the right to choose our own doctors, but here there is no choice.  If ever I undergo a CD4 test (actually I have no choice), what it is? and what its relationship to HIV Reactive?

Without a confirmatory test ? Ur doc is jumping the gun... The acts u described were not What gave u a positive result. Maybe a prior exposure u forgot. Anyways, confirm ur result before u count CD4's.

You didn't have an exposure and your don't need a viral load test. Find a NEW doctor that knows what he is doing.

If those were your only possible exposures then you had a false positive. Those did not put you at risk for HIV and you didn't need testing.

A Western Blot is a confirmatory test. It's a blood test that you can get at a clinic.

What was your exposure?

Thank you very much for a very direct comment... by the way, what is Western Blot?, What do I need to prepare or submit for a test like that?

HIV reactive is a positive result. It alone doesn't mean you have HIV (AIDS is a progression of HIV disease) as it needs to be confirmed with a Western Blot.

What was your exposure?
