HIV Testing Method

I got an exposure a few years ago. I went for a GP for HIV antibody test 1 month ago and the result is negative. The GP sent the blood sample to the accreditated lab. I know that the lab use a lastest HIV testing method known as Roche Elisa method. May i know why the lastest method has Roche infront of the Elisa and how reliable is the test??
Do i have to confirm the negative test by a traditional Elisa method??

Appreciate for your kind advise.

Thanks

A test done for your exposure few years sgo, is conclusive, you are negative conclusively. Stop worrying about HIV and its test method, even the first generation of antibody test would give you the same result after the specifies window period.
