Hiv Ars symptoms

I had a risky enounter with a person of unknown status on the 13th of july unprotected oral sex and vaginal I developed a mild sore throat about 5 days later, would anybody say that this could be related to hiv or is it too soon for such symptoms to show? I visited my local clinc the day after and im booked in for for full check up on the 26th they said that i would find out pretty quickly regarding the most common stis but would have to wait for the hiv status. Im very concerned about my actions and this has changed how i will approach life in the future for sure.

Thanks for the reply i have been worried, i had a chat with my local health councillor at my local health clinic and will do again this comming tuesday, i do suffer with anxiety so just trying to judge where im at right now, and to try and calm my fears somwhat. Its been 10 days now and im not showing any other problems regarding any other STIs im trying to not to concentrate too much on it.

A test 3 months post exposure will give you a conclusive(if negative) result. Symptoms of ARS generally come about 2-4 weeks after infection and usually last a week or 2. And they will ALL come at once,not one at a time and not just a sore throat. Hope this helps.
