length of ars and wbc count during it does this correlate to hiv disease progression?

length of ars and wbc count during it does this correlate to hiv disease progression?

I had ars for about a week but my sore throat lasted more than 6-7 weeks and i got sick again and again with common cold.  My white blood cell count is now 4600 and lymph is 1500.  I have not yet tested positive (at 8 weeks) but think i have hiv.  I have general painful swollen lymph nodes that persists and odd bowel color etc.

Do i have a grim outlook if i do test positive?

Hi Teak,

In your profile it says you are a LTNP.  If you don't mind me asking, do you know offhand why your body has been so resistant to hiv virus.

From what i have read they said that we can tell from initial cd4 count and vl at baseline.   Is this true and what was your cd4 and vl when you were first diagnosed

Thanks,

Symptoms don't diagnose HIV. Only an HIV test at the proper time will give you your status. Lymph nodes with ARS are not painful.
