HIV seroconversion symptoms

Hi i had protected sex 10 days back , done vaginal penetration and nothing else no kissing, no blowjobs, no other things, at present am getting pain abdomen which is diffuse one to two episodes of loose stools, for which i took floroquinolones as proscribed by my General physician i took those tablets for 4 days , presently i dont have any loose stools but diffuse pain abdomen persisting even after 7 days from the start point, because of fear and anxiety i did HIV Ab testing which came negative ( i shouldnot have done it as i may be in window period) ,so please experts suggest me is my persisting abdominal pain related to HIV seroconversion symptoms ?? what is the characteristic of pain abdomen if it is due to seroconversion. please help me if am positive at least i try to prevent transmitting to my wife and childrens....waiting for ur reply

go for duo test in anad lab bangalore or SRL lab .


Both are doing combo test ask then for combo AB/AG test fourt generation .

Hi thanks for help but what about my symptoms pain abdomen still persist, HIV test which one u prefer ? Anxiety is killing me.

please tell me abdomen symptoms if it is seroconversion, today i have blood sample for HIV RNA and Western blot test it takes 7 days to get results...

Please go for hiv testing in any clinic in bangalore after 4 week. which is 100% negative as you had protected sex .

Because you took the condom off, it is very easy to see a break.

Ya but its my assumption that i had protected sex but how i know the condom which i wore was not teared in the middle and exposed to HIV , any tests u suggest me at this time within 10 days ?

No reason as you had protected sex and that means you can't get HIV.

Thanks Vance for the reply, if u can elaborate little more about seroconversion symptoms particularly of pain abdomen any particular characteristics ? am planning to go for HIV RNA testing but its little bit expansive , can u suggest me any tests to detect HIV within 10 days of ex poser ?
