HIV subtype E

Does it really take a longer amount of time for HIV subtype E aka ( CRF01_AE ) to show up on a test?    If so, at what week does it usually show up and does that mean a 3 month negative result is unconclusive?

Try going to an Infectious Doctor and paying and asking them for a response. You ever try googling ELISA HIV test?

Is there anywhere I can find more info about the window period dealing with this subtype where you gained your knowledge from.  The internet seems ambigous and I saw some older post where Dr. HHH didn't have an answer for the same question about seroconversion time.

Thank you Teak.

Also, does all modern HIV test at clinics (example an oral rapid test) pick up for type CRF01_AE?

3 months is conclusive no matter the type or subtype.
