HIV test after 5 1/2 months conclusive?

I am a 22 year old male. 9 months ago I had vaginal intercourse with a sex worker. I was tested for hiv  5 1/2 months after possible exposure. Test came back negative(Retro-quick kit was used). I read that the window period was 3 months , then i saw that it was 6 months. I am worried cause I have small rashes on my back and some on my shoulders and three lumps in my neck(9 months after possible exposure). I think they are swollen lymph.
(1).Can the hiv virus stay dormant in my lymph nodes for 9 months?
(2).Are swallen lymph nodes a strong sign of hiv???
(3).5 1/2 month test being negative pretty acurate?
(4).Should I get another test?
So can anyone give me accurate info on this?  Serious answers only please.  Thank you all for your time
