HIV test in ICTC India.....

Hi Friends, I'm Suresh from India. I've also been tested negative at ICTC India at 64th day of my possible post exposure. How much the test results are conclusive. They just took blood from my vein in a syringe and showed me the results in 30 minutes. I don't know which generation test it was. I beg to you all please help to answer me I'm much stressed for past 2 months. I've to go for another test after 90 days of period?

Why don't you call them up to find out the type of test done?

Anyways, what was your exposure?

Yes. I called them back and they told it was antibody test. They didn't gave any more details about it. Moreover the cause of exposure was that I was forcefully sodomized under deadly weapons by three rouges (I don't know who they when I went to some conference in at west India). I forget to tell on the 64th day I was also test for RPR test which shows that I have Syphilis. Now I'm taking treatment in a private clinic for Syphilis. My question is how much my HIV test results is conclusive which is taken at 64th day?
Well if it's an antibody test, it will only be conclusive at the 12th week. So far, your 9th week negative result is a very good indication that you dont have hiv.
Thanks malbat....
