HIV testing 3 months after PEP

Hello

I had a high risk exposure back in February(unprotected vaginal). I received PEP and took it for one month strictly(although a norvir tablet was left outside where its gelatin cover went mushy but nothing came out - i took it)

I have had two 4th generation DUO tests(ag/ab) which both came back negative 2 weeks post-PEP and 3 months post-PEP.

The CDC recommends to re-test at 6 months which i plan to do but i would like to know whether

I have experienced no side effects of PEP but i have been recently been having some symptoms that may be related to HIV

-Chills
-Fatigue
-Low-grade Fever
-Sore throat
-Rash(flat red dots)

I went to the doctor and she prescribed Augmentin for me which made me feel better(again another piece of evidence that I may not be infected by HIV)

1) the 6-month mark is suggested only as a precautionary measure?

2) are there any documented cases of people testing negative at 3 months post-PEP only then to turn positive 6 months post-PEP?

3)Is my 3 months post-PEP conclusive?

Thank you for your time and hard work

No, it doesn't. You don't have HIV.

This forum is HIV specific. You do not have an HIV concern. No need to post here anymore, your questions were addressed.

I am sorry if I am bothering you all again

I am waiting for my results which include HCV testing.
My questions are

Since I had only one exposure is there a high chance I contracted both hcv and hiv?

If I happen to contract hcv would that mean the negative result I received is not conclusive?

Does coinfection with hiv of hcv delay the testing window period?

Thank you for all your comments

All of them. They all equal 3 months. 12 weeks is 84 days, 90 days is 3 months for the most part and well 3 months is 3 months. Pick one and go with it. All are fine.
