3 months post nPEP is conclusive
3 months post the last dose is conclusive, 6 months were the old guidelines.
Thank you for your input
These past few months have been very stressful
One last question
-There is basically no chance at all of late sero-conversion am I correct?
Is '3 months'
-12 weeks
-90 days
-3 months
I am confused : /
Thanks alot for the input guys
All of them. They all equal 3 months. 12 weeks is 84 days, 90 days is 3 months for the most part and well 3 months is 3 months. Pick one and go with it. All are fine.
I am sorry if I am bothering you all again
I am waiting for my results which include HCV testing.
My questions are
Since I had only one exposure is there a high chance I contracted both hcv and hiv?
If I happen to contract hcv would that mean the negative result I received is not conclusive?
Does coinfection with hiv of hcv delay the testing window period?
Thank you for all your comments
This forum is HIV specific. You do not have an HIV concern. No need to post here anymore, your questions were addressed.
I am wondering whether infection of hcv DELAY hiv diagnosis
I am sorry if I was misunderstood
No, it doesn't. You don't have HIV.
