bad move did i put myself at risk

i am extremely worried and paranoid from an incident a month ago where i had vaginal sex (protected) with a CSW. I was limp throughout the experience and towards the end we performed doggie. After a few thrusts i noticed my myself outside of her with the condom completely off and the next thing i know is she was putting it back on within 5 seconds. i did not happen to see if it was hanging from outside of her vagina as i was kind of in shock. Today will be a month and iv developed a sore throat headache and overall just feel dull. I know i shouldnt go by symptoms, but what are the odds of me caching HIV from this incidence if say she was hiv positive?? Thanks

1) Yes, they are completely reliable.

2) 31 days is encouraging. Accuracy is around 90% at that time.  6 weeks is a good indication, and 3 months is conclusive.

Got tested at day 31 since exposure using Oraquick finger test. Result showed negative which gives some peace of mind. The lady testing didn't help anxiety as much. she told me 3 months is when the test will really show and too early too be testing. also while waiting for my result (oraquick took 20 min. ) she asked me "what would be your next move and where would you go from here if you were positive?" WTF!!!!

1) is Oraquick Finger stick accurate and reliable?
2) is 31 days a good sign to be in the clear? or am I not their yet

-Thanks

Your risk is very low. For more information, just search on "CSW" in the expert forum. There are literally hundreds of threads that describe your exact situation.

Your symptoms do not fit the pattern of ARS. And symptoms are meaningless as indicators of HIV status anyway. ARS is a non-specific reaction to any viral infection.

I know testing is the only way to really confirm which i am going to do.
But for peace of mind do you think the exposure or odds of transmission from this are high. i did notice the condom off and then she retrieved it rather quickly, though I did not happen to look if it was hanging out of her vagina. i also experienced the symptoms described on the 28th day, is that a valid time period for ARS??

If the condom fell off when you withdrew then you were not at risk. If you are not sure then test.
