HIV??

Hello,

I'm really worried I may have contracted HIV. I had protected vaginal and unprotected oral sex 5 weeks ago. I have had many symptoms but the symptoms I'm still having  are chest pain, occasional severe stomach pain and nerve pain in my arm, hands and thumbs ( like a sharp pain occasionally)

My arms just don't feel right at all! I feel very weak and I'm praying to God I that I don't have HIV!

So worried right now! please help!

My results came back today, Negative for HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B & C.

Im wondering if to do another Test after 3 months which would be conclusive. Thank you Teak for putting my mind at ease lately, I really admire what you do for this forum/website.

Thanks a lot, Dean

If I have sex with someone HIV+ are you guaranteed to contract it?

We don't take "what if" questions. Had the condom failed you would have known.

What gives you hope is you never had an exposure.

Teak I must say thanks for your support but why am I feeling like I do? My body cant function because my mind is constantly thinking and worrying of HIV?

The only things that give me hope are that I have had no rash, no swollen lymph nodes and I havent had a high fever since 3 days post exposure which would be to early to be HIV.

Symptoms are misleading most of the time, just ignore them,, you never had exposure, as you were told

Why do I have these symptoms then?

You never had an exposure. HIV is not transmitted by oral sex and you had protected vaginal sex.
