hello everyone. i am student from asia. i am studying in new zealand. during this holiday my friends took me to a night club. we had drinks and lots of girls were dancing. there were lots of strip tease going on. one of the club girl came did strip tease for me(private). she sat on my bare thighs and was kissing and doing other stuffs. after some time i felt her vagina was very wet and her fluids were on me. i did not worry about this.suddenly one of my friend told that i could get aids if i touch vaginal liquids. i am very afraid now. please help me. I need to go to my home during vacation and be with my family. i am very tensed.
today i felt two pea sized swelling just under my chin. i went to the doctor. he told it was due to my sinus problem or some allergy. but no lymph nodes are visible to naked eye.
anyone please help me. does my two pea sized swelling just under my chin is lymph node? or is this seroconversion illness? but i have no fever or other symptoms. had mild sore throat every now and then.
please help.

thanks a lot lizzie... are you sure pea sized lymph nodes are normal.. coz i can find two pea sized(less than pea sized) lumps just under my chin.(between my chin and adam's apple)

pea size lymph nodes are NORMAL.

i would suggest you read the forum guidelines and move on.

hi teak. is it normal for lymph nodes to be small like pea size. that can be felt just below the chin.

my doctor said that two of my submental lymph nodes(under my chin) are slightly swollen. but he said that hiv doesnt cause these lymph nodes to swell. is he correct?

hiv is transmitted through...

unprotected vaginal/anal intercourse (penetration)
sharing iv drug works
mother to child

hiv is not transmitted through "touching" vaginal fluids.

you were NEVER at risk from what you have described.

thanks a lot. the reason i was worried was i have lot of itchy rash like things on my skin in my arms. i scratch them often. so i thought the liquids could enter my body through the skin  broken by scratches. i have never had sex or anything like that.
